STORIES FROM OUR BARI | CHAPTER 4- Doon to Delhi | SAUMYA AGARWAL
My journey from Doon to Delhi has been both adventurous and overwhelming in its own way. For me, Delhi is a place filled with people and memories. I relocated here in 2016 to pursue my graduation, and since then, I have taken up every opportunity I could get to explore the city – at times it feels like a treasure hunt to me! Delhi's uniqueness is something that sets it apart, and it has always filled me with a sense of belonging. If I had to pen down my love for Delhi then it would be precisely what Mirza Ghalib describes in his poetry - the heart of change and hope. Whether it's devouring mouth-watering puchkas with my friends in CR Park, indulging in a delicious Nepali thali in Humayunpur, or simply strolling around Humayun's Tomb on a cool day, every moment spent in Delhi feels special.
And when I'm seeking some time away from the chaos, I find myself enjoying a play at Mandi House. For the past seven years, Delhi has been my home, and its beauty never ceases to amaze me.
